Road King goes to: Redlees Studios
On Friday evening, the rain of the week finally stopped, we drove with the Harley-Davidson Road King Classic to Worton Road in Isleworth, where the artists@redlees held their annual Summer open Studio.
The artists@redlees are a diverse group of artists formed to organize and promote the collective and individual work of the residents of Redlees Studios.
The member’s work ranges from jewelery and glass, to ceramics, painting, sculpture and mixed media.
Collectively they organize shows of their creations in close co-operation with JLIS who maintain the building they work in.
The aim is to establish the studios as a thriving center for the production of high quality art, crafts and design and to raise the profile in the markets for the work of all members.
The artists create unique, one-off pieces in a wide variety of media including painting, illustration, collage, multi-media work, pottery or ceramics, sculpture and 3-D work; jewelery and glass making, textiles, knitting, and other applied arts.
artists@redlees members not only produce bespoke pieces, they can also work to commission for clients from across the UK and worldwide and exhibit widely in major national and international trade and consumer fairs and galleries.
