My 2010 Road King Classic handover

Finally, in the evening was delivery time, and after a short drive home, here are the very first pictures.

The “comfort profile rear saddlebag guards” (49179-09) were not yet available, the detachable Sissy bar (52627-09) is kept in place by a “4-point docking hardware kit” (5420-09), to have the option to attach a additional luggage rack.

Lieber’s advise: first 50 miles very gentle, next 450 miles at max 80 mph in 6th, and  first service after 1.000 miles.

Today I did the “very gentle” routine in the evening. Not yet used to find neutral easily…

.. and the Touring Models Owner’s Manual is a nightmare most likely written by lawyers.

  1. I am glad that you now have your Road King. I hope that you have many happy years with it. Finding neutral will soon be easy!
